Samsung has announced its new kitchen appliances: Slide-in Ranges and an Over-the-Range Microwave. Both appliances feature a clean design and the new Air Fry Max feature. The company claims they can reduce cooking time by around 15% compared to previous models while offering efficient cooking and a connected smart home experience.
The Slide-in Range is available in electric and gas models and features True Convection for crisp, even baking. It also offers Air Sous Vide, which uses precise airflow and heat to deliver the ideal flavor and moisture for specific recipes. The electric version has a 3.6kW Express Boil cooktop with dual heating elements to accommodate different pot sizes. The gas version of the Slide-in Range has a 23K BTU dual-power burner for high-heat tasks such as boiling and searing.
Both the Over-the-Range Microwave and the Slide-in Range feature Air Fry Max. It offers a healthier way to cook than deep frying and can produce crispier food. It does not require preheating and uses high heat and powerful convection fans to reduce cooking time by 15% compared to the Air Fry feature in previous-generation Samsung Slide-in Ranges and Over-the-Range Microwave models.
Both appliances can automatically sync with each other over Wi-Fi. When you turn on the cooktop, the microwave automatically activates its lights and ventilation. The appliances have built-in displays with intuitive user interfaces that make them easy to use.
Both appliances are compatible with Samsung's SmartThings smart home platform and can be controlled and monitored using the SmartThings app on phones, tablets, smartwatches, TVs, and other compatible smart home devices. They also feature the Bixby AI assistant and are compatible with the Samsung Food app for meal planning and recipe discovery.
The appliances are designed to match the aesthetics of a modern home and complement Samsung's 2026 refrigerator lineup. Samsung has equipped them with illuminated precision knobs that light up when the cooktop is active, providing clear visual feedback and helping prevent accidental burns. They also feature Soft Close Doors.
The new Slide-in Ranges and Over-the-Range Microwave are now available in North America and will also be available in Latin American markets soon.
